The Canadian Comedy is made possible by all the volunteers who made all stand-up comedians in the country feel they belong, and their art is as important as any art. Here are some of the departments that comprise all the functions of the organization:
WEBSITE AND SOCIAL NETWORK DEPARTMENT
They are behind the development of the website, the management of contents in our blogs, and social media.
FINANCE AND FUNDRAISING DEPARTMENT
They are responsible for the operational expenses, solicitations, and other fundraising activities of the organization.
MEMBERSHIP DEPARTMENT
They facilitate the registration and management of all the members, including membership concerns, registration issues, etc.
PRESS RELEASE AND MARKETING
They are behind the production of posters, pamphlets, newsletters, and other marketing methods, alongside the production of official statements of the organization to the media and its representation to the society.
LOBBYING DEPARTMENT
They are behind all the lobbying and liaison of clients, sponsors, and other important personalities and organizations.
SAFETY, ANTI-DISCRIMINATION, AND ANTI-HARASSMENT DEPARTMENT
They are the people behind the protection and empowerment of every performing stand-up comedian in the country.
INDUSTRY RELATIONS DEPARTMENT
They are behind all the liaison with other important industries related to or supporting the organisation’s vision for stand-up comedy in Canada.
